Generally musicians get their treasured effects pedals upgraded/modified to have something that sounds fantastic, but looks stock standard - this can give you your own unique sound .  Many of our pedal modifications are original designs, that have come from many hours of experimenting which is an ongoing process. In addition to this, we use the best components available with exceptional workmanship and an extremely fast turn around. We are New Zealand owned and operated. This means we give knowledgeable and prompt one on one service and advice to musicians wanting modifications and repairs to their precious equipment, ensuring workmanship of the highest standard. 

" Do you modify SMD effects units? "

Yes we do, we have been safely and successfully modifying SMD units for years. The approach to SMD work is different to general circuit board work. If not professionally modified, this can damage the board and ruin you treasured effects unit. We ensure that all effects units are modified with the greatest care.

" How does your modding service work?  "

If you have purchased a modification kit off trade me or through this web-site, then the next step is to send your unit to my workshop. Once I receive your unit I will install the mod kit, test the unit and ship your unit back to you once payment has been received.

" How long does it take to install a Modification kit? "

From when I receive your unit it will take 2 working days, not including the return shipping back to you. Generally shipping may take 1-3 working days. if you are working musician please let me know as I will do my best to complete your mod if required urgently before a show.

" How much is the return shipping? "

Generally, unless stated otherwise, return shipping is inclusive in the quoted modification price. Standard shipping price within New Zealand is usually $6 including postage and packaging. 

" Can you repair my effects pedal? "

" Do you warranty your work? "

Yes we do. We offer a three year warranty on all parts and labour. This covers manufacturing or workmanship faults on work done. Our warranty does not cover wear and tear, or damage due to incorrect or abusive use. This includes switches and jacks, which are often subjected to physical mistreatment.
